It was originally scheduled to occur from June 8th to June 10th. In its statement, the conference states:</p>
<p><em>The health and welfare of all NeoCon participants, as well as local, national and international communities at large, are our highest priority. For the past several weeks, theMART has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation with partners and city and state officials. It is now clear that postponement is the correct decision and all those involved with the June event have new information with which to plan accordingly.</em><br></p>

<p>The Design Museum of Chicago <a href="https://designchicago.org/grants/designing-a-better-chicago/" target="_blank">website</a> states that the 2020 award will include a "large-scale commissioned design installation on Chicago's Riverwalk," as well as a separate grant award and the opportunity to engage in associated programming alongside the museum. </p>
<p>According to the website, between two and four grants of up to $25,000 each will be awarded each year for "individuals and organizations using design or design principles to directly address pressing issues in Chicago communities."</p>

1. Private-sector construction as a percentage of total construction appears robust considering the state of our economy.
2. Without question, digital content consumption is no longer the future, but rather the present. More interesting, there are nearly more architects and designers consuming content on their mobile devices than in magazines.</p></em><br /><br /><p>
