<p>"The face of retail changes so fast," <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/20628155/peter-marino-architect" target="_blank">Peter Marino</a>, whose New York-based firm was in charge of the lengthy makeover, tells <em>Elle</em>, adding, "It’s very much a necessity for [brands] to have these big special statements in key landmark locations."<br></p>
