Chief curator Charles Esche commissioned nearly 70 percent of the exhibition’s artworks, collaborating with a five-person curatorial team that included an architect for the first time in the biennial’s 63-year history (fun fact: it’s the world’s second-oldest contemporary art biennial).</p></em><br /><br /><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">

<strong><em>Intersection: Intimacy and Spectacle</em></strong> will introduce to the city center an ephemeral artistic dwelling composed of thirty boxes, designed by Israeli architect Oren Sagiv and curated by Sodja Lotker. These boxes will be inhabited by performative projects realized and performed by scenographers, performers, choreographers, visual artists, film directors, drama theatres, installation artists, fashion designers, writers, and painters, etc... including Anna Viebrock, Romeo Castellucci, Harun Farocki, Markus Schinwald, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, Josef Nadj….</p>

The project is a part of the next Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, the world´s largest performance design event held in Prague once every four years. More on <a href="http://www.pq.cz" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.pq.cz</a>.</p>
