<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/8c/8c483e95c1e42b261af74f107b9e2406.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p><a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/287980/airbnb" target="_blank">Airbnb</a> has added a replica of the floating house from the popular 2009 Pixar film <em>Up</em> and other unique pop culture-inspired stays to its inventory. The experience is part of Airbnb's new Icons line of vacation rentals, which CEO Brian Chesky recently unveiled to the public in Los Angeles. </p>

An Airbnb spokesperson told <a href="https://www.krqe.com/news/new-mexico/how-airbnb-and-disney-teamed-up-to-create-a-replica-up-house-in-new-mexico/" target="_blank">KRQE News 13</a>: “Our community’s safety is incredibly important to us, so guests will not be inside the house while it is lifted. All guests will remain 100 ft away from the house while the house is lifted. The house will not exceed the height of 50 ft designated by engineering and crane operators as safe for lifting.”<br></p>
