The 15 elected RIBA Chartered Members were commended for their significant contributions to the architecture profession.</p> <p>Current UK or&nbsp;International RIBA Chartered Members are eligible to apply for RIBA Fellow membership if they also meet at least three of the RIBA's requirements, which include: Receiving an honor or award for significant contribution to architecture; Demonstrating leadership in advancing architectural education, research, or technology; and/or leading or playing a proactive role in a project that created positive social and environmental impact &mdash; to name a few.&nbsp;Fellows will get to&nbsp;use the initials FRIBA after their name.<br></p> <p>Many of the 2018 fellows are based in the UK, Ireland, and Scotland, while a few come from the U.S., Hong Kong, and France.
