Built 3D models for the works of Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1736-1806), e.g.
the ideal city of Chaux, Rotonde de Chartres, Barriere Du Combat, and
Maison de l’Étoile. Created models in Rhino with only plans and sections
from 18th century without any photographic support. Worked with Peter
Testa to prepare materials for his SCIArc class.

Freelance, Designer

- Collaborated with Vincent Chui Consulting Engineer, Inc. on two 2000+
sq.ft. residential renovation projects. Took measurements of the sites
and drafted existing and remodeling plans with engineer and designer.
Responsible for filing proper paper work and resolving issues with the city
office.
- Provided consultation and design for a new 20,000sq ft medical building
in Apple Valley, CA. Reviewed architect’s plans from users’ perspective and
ensuring ADA compliance. Developed interior and exterior designs, including
custom-made furniture sourced from China.
- Worked with architects and owners to ideate new designs for residential
projects in San Marino and Glendale, California as well as in Maui and Hilo,
Hawaii. Rendered exterior designs for city permit applications.
- Transformed a 3-unit historical residential home into vacation rentals on
a Main street in Santa Monica. Coordinated owner, property management,
contractor, and city office to resolve issues in a timely manner. Developed
a new structural design to stabilize a collapsing barn-house structure.
Designed, furnished, and staged the units ready for immediate rental.

Design for Social Impact - Professional Notable: Safe Agua addresses quotidian challenges of safe water access for families living in Latin American slum developments. Driven by field research in Santiago, Chile, the team designed innovative water solutions, implemented by the NGO client: 10 Mila community laundries, Relava kitchen workstations, and 1000s of Ducha Halo portable showers.
