The driving concept for this project is a combination of images of the medical field from both past and present. The concept is also heavily influenced by the exterior architecture of the building. This combination of modern and traditional aesthetics, lead to a transitional style for the interiors of the space. Florence Nightingale, the founder of nursing, was known for her lantern, so that idea is translated by creating lighting effects to lead users throughout the space.
