Barcelona, ES

Architect (MSc. Arch), based near Barcelona (Catalonia - Spain).

I have been successfully working in "DDV Arquitectura", my own architectural studio, since 2004.

In Spain, Architectural studies have a double master's degree: Architectural Design and Engineering. This feature brings to our work a vast real scope, including structural and MEP knowledge, in addition to basic architectural discipline.

As an architect, I manage all the phases of the construction, the full design and working project, the control on site of the works, the project management, and my principal duties are to represent the customer at every stage.

I focus on the use of BIM, especially with openBIM process, implementing the value this methodology brings to new construction and refurbishment projects.

My usual activity also flows as a proactive member of Catalonia's BIM Users Group (GuBIMCat) and buildingSMART Spanish Chapter (BSSCh), where open standards become its main discussion focus. As a result of these intensive tasks, I collaborate with initiatives such as "Comissió Construïm el Futur" (CCF) sponsored by ITeC and the Commission of the Spanish National BIM Strategy (es.BIM), in Catalonia and Spain scopes, respectively.

My insatiable curiosity, the passion for my job, my networking and communication skills become my best values to keep developing my career in AEC industry and, as a result, providing new solutions to my clients.
