About

My name is Daniel Good. I live in Kumasi, Ghana. Ghana is located in West Africa in case you do not know. When I was young, I realized that I was different. Nobody could understand me. I knew that the mind was way older than my body. This is because I am melancholic and also phlegmatic; highly introverted. I loved nature; plants and animals and life and the landscape.

I used to ask a whole lot of questions. I still do. I wanted to know the highs and lows of everything around me, including me. The hows and whys were my most asked questions. As I grew up, I came to know that I can be really great but there was no enabling environment. My primary dream was to be a theoretical physicist like Albert Einstein. Everybody laughed at that, including my family.

How I came to like Architecture was astonishing. My greatest motivation came from my own sister, Keren Happuch, who was exceptionally good at Pre-technical Skills at school but she didn't really love it. Her works were what I referred to during a self-organized self-tuition of Architecture. Another was Rachel Opare-Sem, who has MArch from Norwich University. Her mom was a great encouragement to both of us. She was an Interior Designer.

When I was 15, I sat down with my best friend, Lillian, as we discussed what our future profession would be. She plainly said she wanted to be a doctor, but I wanted to be so many things at the same time. I realized I needed to be committed to only one. I didn't want to major in a profession I didn't love.

I researched for the next 2 years until I realized that Architecture is the only field that covers most of my personal interests, skills and abilities. When I got that vision, my vision changed! I wanted to know every detail about my new found love. I have now started the Bsc. Architecture program at KNUST, Ghana.
