After more than a decade of holding different positions, as well as pursuing extensive training in Architecture and Urban Planning, Ximena found herself dissatisfied with the direction of her career. An undeniable passion for writing about the subjects of her fields of expertise became evident as she wrote her Master's thesis: The Place of Planners in Tourism Development Planning.

Since her early years as an Architecture student in Mexico, Ximena was fascinated by the wide knowledge gap that separates Architects -- and other design professionals--, from the end users. What she found more shocking, was that this gap didn't seem to matter to her peers. She truly felt out of place.

Now as a Public Relations specialist at Converge Communications, her goal is to help Architecture & Design professionals gain credible media exposure and build a strong reputation in their community. Architects & Design professionals should not only reach all of their potential audiences, to be relevant, they have to clearly explain the value of their work to society and the environment. She chose this career path to contribute in filling the gap between architects, designers, and their clients.

Her international experience and eclectic educational background in Architecture, Environmental Design, and Public Relations give Ximena a unique edge to solve the communications needs of Architecture & Design firms.
