About 

Christina Bahou is an architecture student from Amman, Jordan, minoring in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises at Syracuse University in New York. She has been living in the US for the past four years and has participated in abroad programs, focused in architecture, both in London and Florence in 2016. She speaks four languages, two fluently, and the other two at an intermediate level. She is passionate about community service, and the influence on and off architecture, especially in the Middle East and its effect on displaced people and communities. She has worked as an architectural intern in multiple firms in both Jordan and the UAE in the past couple of years. 

Her hobbies include dancing, painting, and has a strong passion for racing cars. Some of her greatest achievements include organizing the 10th Annual Model United Nations Conference in Jordan, working with Iraqi refugees in Jordan through art therapy, as well as being an international staff for a cultural and peace exchange camp in Budapest, Hungary.

She is currently working on her architectural thesis with a focus on the concept of "Permanent Temporality", by studying and addressing the emerging need for a more modern and permanent approach to refugee camps. Her research is based on the largest Syrian Refugee Camp in the world, the Za'atari Refugee camp in Jordan.

A.R.A Design, Dubai, AE, Architectural Intern

Worked on a set of different schemes for a semi Attached Private Villa for a client in Iran.The work constituted all design stages with a large range of digital mediums.

Worked on a Private Modern Villa, which focused on incorporating GRC Fiber Glass into the overall façade; as well as on an Extension for a private School in Jordan, which included an Auditorium and Natatorium. Work was conducted on the construction phase of the projects, including drafting of plans and sections, digital 3D modeling, on site work, as well as contributed to Engineering and construction meetings.

Worked on a Palace in Abu Dhabi, a Farmhouse in Dubai, as well as an Interior Renovation Project for a historical house on the Jerusalem border. Work was conducted on the initial design phases, plan drafting and contributing to project and client coordination
meetings.
