About

My name is Bruno Martinez, I have graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture at the Univesitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, one of the world’s top ranked schools of architecture. I am registered as an Architect in Spain, and my credentials are valid in the whole European Union. I have a NCARB record and I am on the path to licensure in the US. I am a creative person, committed to work, and enthusiastic about the multidisciplinary design process.

I am currently working at Locus Architecture in Miami, where I am immersed in a full architectural experience. From design development to construction drawings, I have been in contact with several types of projects: residential, hospitality, historical homes, public spaces, among others. I have worked on over 50 projects, being in direct contact with the principal, engineers, contractors, and clients. I have already completed my AXP hours, and I am ready to take the next step on my professional and personal growth.

Complementing my student projects with hands-on experience, I have taken internships at SB Architects in Miami, and at UD Arquitectes in Barcelona. Adding to this, having spent a year in Italy, I was able to get a solid hold on the language, and immerse myself in their culture and history through participation in restoration projects coordinated by renowned professors. Last year, I took classes at Florida International University, at the College of Communication Architecture + Arts, and Moss Department of Construction Management. Those alternating international experiences provided me with rich multicultural insights that allows me to adapt quickly to different environments and cultures.

I am interested in an Architecture that dialogs with its surroundings and responds to its bioclimatic needs. I believe architecture has the power to make a positive effect on people’s lives and, I am looking for the most suitable place to do this.

Feel free to contact me if there is anything I can answer.

Sincerely,

Bruno Martinez
