My name is Bekir Yilmaz and I`m 26 years old. I graduated from Ozyegin University’s School of Architecture and I also had internship experience in two architecture offices.  

I pursued my education abroad and have now returned to my birthplace, Sweden. Currently, I am dedicated to continuously improving myself in the field of architecture by attending events and working on my own projects.During my studies, I had the opportunity to work on different projects and designed different buildings. so far I have designed a preschool, library, museum, school dormitory, and research center. With more than 2 years of experience in architectural design and drawing, particularly elevations, Ibring to your team a trained eye for detail and a keen sense of modern and green aesthetics, as evident from my portfolio.

I’m proficient in the use of Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Lumion, Rhinoceros, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Although all my projects are dear to me, I am proud of my Research Center project because environmental issues are a great sensitivity of mine as an architect. With this project, my technical design and drawing skills have also improved. I especially really like drawing 3D and floor plans. I also have some experience in field work thanks to my construction internship, having accompanied and assisted senior architects during on-site inspections and quality control checks. While field visits can be hard work, I
personally welcome them as a break from the sedentary office environment.
Since graduation, I’ve engaged in continual learning and development, not only because it would advance my career, but also because I believe sustainable design can help solve some of our biggest challenges, namely global warming and
resource scarcity.
