Hall Directors are paraprofessional student staff members who live in the residence halls and assist the director in creating successful living environments. Each HRA has been an RA and received the same training in addition to supervisory and managerial skills.

• Responsible of an entire residence hall and the population within as well as a residential population of 420 residents.
• Tasks include building health and safety checks, maintenance reports and areas of improvement assessment.
• Supervise and train a staff of three (3) Residents Assistants directly and an overall team of 15 RAs by coordinating tasks, duties, scheduling, follow-ups, event and office logistics.
• Hold weekly staff meetings and individual one-on-one meetings to address issues, concerns and progress on previously assigned tasks.
• Evaluate residential staff members’ performances, goals and achievements in addition to generating staff development activities and events.

• Survey and draft multiple medium to large scale healthcare facilities i.e. nursing homes, clinics and dialysis centers
• Produce Construction Documents for a number of projects i.e. info sheets, drawings and coordinate MEP drawings with engineering offices as well as organize specifications books.
• I worked on projects such as Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Waterfront Health Care Center and Beth Abraham Day Care.

NYIT's school of architecture and design offers an exceptional educational experience to its students. With diverse projects varying from conceptual designs of abstract space to real life simulated projects with different characteristics and challenges.

Projects varies in its nature i.e museums, sport complexes, residential buildings, etc... Students are challenged according to the nature of the projects with requirements ranging from conceptual problems to ADA and code requirements.
