Amanda Lilly

Salem, MA, US

I am a junior level landscape designer with a Master’s of Landscape Architecture Degree from the CUNY Spitzer School of Architecture in New York City and am currently searching for an entry level position with a professional landscape architecture firm who is able and willing to offer a solid training and mentorship opportunity.  I have read the job posting listed on the BSLA website and would like to submit my materials for your consideration.
My professional skills have developed and broadened from a variety of experiences ranging from freelance landscape design, construction and maintenance to professional architectural and landscape design.  I have one year of cumulative landscape architecture experience and two years of architectural experience.  My landscape architecture work includes a full time position held with ZEN Associates, a design build firm in Woburn, MA; a consultant position with Blair Hines Design Associates in Brookline, MA; a consultant position with Benzinburg Stein Associates in New York and an internship with Peter Gisolfi Associates in New York.  I also have two years of professional experience as an architectural designer with Kallmann, McKinnell and Wood Architects in Boston.
In addition to my MLA, I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  I am proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office Applications.  I am a motivated self starter, I am confident with my presentation and communication skills and I am eager to develop my career as a Landscape Architect.
