I have one year of practical experience working in Eton for Striblings Architects. There I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including a competition entry to design Wellington College’s new performance art Centre.
More recently at the University of Liverpool I was fortunate to be accepted onto the Erasmus Exchange program where I studied for six months at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. There I experienced a completely different school of thought and as well as designing a new typology of memorial for the Paris attacks I also signed up to a design by algorithm elective that taught us Grasshopper scripting. I was able to use this knowledge in my most recent thesis project where I designed a tidal barrage across the River Mersey incorporating pumped water towers with parasitic architecture clamped on to them.
