Prapatsorn Lertluechachai is a Thai architect whose interests lie in architectural design, arts, and fabrication technology. In 2013, she received a Bachelor of Architecture degree with second class honours from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and in 2020 she completed her master’s degree in Architectural Design with distinction from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, UK.
Before her study in the UK, she practised as a professional architect in Thailand in architectural design firms based in Bangkok, which are Design 103 International
Ltd, Techa Development Co Ltd, and Design Worldwide Partnership (dwp). Her experiences span multiple types of architecture, including aviation, commercial, and residential projects.
Prapatsorn’s architectural methodology is grounded on a multi-disciplinary approach incorporating materiality, digital tools, and site-specific context. She believes that architecture could play a crucial part in responding to human well-being and socio-economic and environmental crisis. This idea is most apparent in her master’s group project - Metaplas: 3D Printed Multi-Polymers.
During her undergraduate study, Prapatsorn was awarded First Runner-Up in the design competition for Klong-Sra-Bua Resort & Spa. The project featured the integration of space syntax of traditional Thai architecture and the sufficient facilities for a modern destination resort, responding to the historical and ecological context of the site.
