Tallinn, EE

Hello there! My name is Maria Eero, I'm a young upcoming architect-designer and a creative seeker from Estonia.  In 2016 I received my bachelor degree in architecture at Nizhny Novgorod State University (Russia). Being a student I got that architecture is a connecting link in the regulation and governing the quality of life. I believe that architecture can make a difference and I aspire to be a part of that change.

In September I was accepted for an Erasmus EVS project in Austria. I choose work with disables people, I wanted to see and understand with my own eyes their position in society and how with an architectural design we can make their life easier and comfortable. I have a dream to work with an architecture team on creating urban spaces in cities which would support the needs of disables people, a place of safety, that would free and inspire them.

I hope to develop in the sphere of ecological architecture and green technologies that needed to design environmentally friendly and sustainable buildings.

From the fact that in life I moved a lot to different countries, I learned to easily adapt and find contact with new people. I want to work, where I have not been yet, in a different country with different culture.

I am passionate, self-driven, hardworking and willing to go above and beyond to design spaces or objects that best fit our lifestyle.

Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg - Loackerhuus, Götzis, AT, Volunteer

EVS Volunteer with disabled people. The role as a volunteer was to work along with the employees and people with intellectual disabilities and behavior problems, mainly in one of the three working areas. I was encouraged and accompanied to support people to tackle a task for themselves, not to do things for them, in order for them to realize their potential and abilities.

Teremok-nn, Nizhny Novgorod, Architect and visualizer intern

I had teamed up with other architects ongoing projects of buildings design. The project was our full responsibility concerning the design. It included technical drawings, presentation imaging, and meetings with the engineers. I made research on rules and regulations concerning a particular program, or completion of final drawings, concept graphics for presentations and imaging.
