Lack of place and identity are two of the most notable critiques of the modern projects in architecture. Modern architecture, with utilizing technology and efficiency, has created an irreversible impact on architecture. In the late 20th century, postmodernism, with a nostalgic approach, strived to restore identity by recreating historical forms and ornaments.
This thesis tries to hybridize the cultural, historical and contextual characteristics of a region with the positive aspects of modern architecture in order to return back the
lost identity to the place.
