Investigating the design constraints and possibilities that the construction of a mobile maker space for dyslexic children faces. The program addresses an actual concern of a school in Pittsburgh, the Provident Charter School located in Troy Hill in the West bank of the Allegheny River: the target was to design and build a maker space prototype accommodating the multiple needs of children with dyslexia.

AECOM, Arlington, VA, US, Architectural Designer - Intern

1. Assisted with the GWCC 50% documentation and 100% construction Document. Worked in collaboration with the interiors on this project.

2. Developed a space planned model for the South Building project and assisted with the space planning for this project. Furthermore, I prepared complete documentation for the 50 % submission.

3. Worked on the concept and the schematic phase. Prepared the 100% construction document for the Dishwashing project at Moanalua Hospital. Worked in collaboration with the Engineers preparing MEP documents.

4. Assisted the scheme development phase for the Beach House, North Carolina. Also, I assisted with the rendering and development of a Virtual reality interaction model for this project.

5. 3D Modelling of the Pentagon City control tower project.

6. I also performed building cost calculations for the prepared construction bid documents for the GWCC building project under the supervision of the project manager.

Furthermore, I performed a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks. Performed limited exercise of judgment required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
