740 South Broad Street

Working with the developer and the church next door, Coscia Moos Architecture designed the 120-unit apartment building to attract The University of the Arts student residents. The new 200,000 SF, 22-story high-rise apartment building is located prominently along the Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia. Common areas, stacked in the interior, are expressed on the facade with large panes of glass. The resulting effect are two glass blocks cutting into the L-shape of the high-rise apartment building. The ground floor is designated for retail space. Parking for 75 cars is underground and serviced by a car elevator. Amenities include a gym, weight room, yoga room, and a rooftop terrace.
