The proposal for the Panyu Guanglu project (番禺广铝) aims to transform the function of this former industrial site to residential and commercial. The project should include several residential towers, 1 commercial podium, parking garage, bicycle garage, and civil air defense facilities.

The width (east to west) of the site is around 100m, and the length (north to south) is 230m. To the south, there exists a hill, whose summit height is 24.5m above sea level. To the north is Shiguang Road (市广路), an arterial road in Panyu District. 

The site can be generally divided into north commercial area and south residential area. The north commercial podium near the prosperous Shiguang Road provides shopping and  catering service by the form of inner courtyard to avoid noise and traffic pollution. In the south, the residential towers and the existing hill create natural and peaceful environment for the clients. The greening will extend from the hill to the inner site.
