About

My name is Yifan Wang. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, I grew up around design and architecture in a family of architects and construction managers - construction sites were my playground and bricks and mortar were my toys.

My fascination with languages, visualization of ideas, and problem-solving finally led me to architectural design in New York City. I constantly look for organic and emotionally engaging solutions to design problems, as design is fluid and must take on a life of its own while responding to the dreams and limits of the client. Music, nature, literature, an overwhelming desire to explore, and efficiency are my strongest design influences.

Learning is my greatest interest of all time. I also enjoy making music, cooking, woodworking, sculpture, and great conversation. My language skills and unique experience of living in different cities around the world (Taipei, Tokyo, Berlin, and New York) make me a critical thinker with a global view.
