About

Hi everyone,

Here is a little background of who I am. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Soon after graduating from high school I came to New York to find great opportunities. During my first year in New York I polished my English and later on I started going to New York City College of Technology (City Tech) to study architecture. During my time there I mainly focused on studying and giving my everything to architecture. One of my projects from a studio class made it to an exhibition hold at the Brooklyn Borough Hall, the fall of 2014. This exhibition was called Architectural Visions: Transforming Downtown Brooklyn—40 Innovative Design, a display of academic work, among other student’s projects. It offered a solution for the underdeveloped area in Downtown Brooklyn that has a full potential for being taken to another level.

I am currently working at Badaly Architects, as an Intermediate Architect. Here  have designed over 60 residential apartment buildings which includes, but is not limited to multi-family houses, and apartment buildings varying from 7 to 160 units. I have a proven track record of evaluating and designing residential buildings in compliance with all requirements, enhancing building energy performance, and minimizing employee drawing mistakes.

I am skilled in supporting various architectural projects by preparing designs, and completing construction documents. I have repeated success in developing and executing highly efficient and functional building plans in accordance with Building Code and Zoning Resolution. I am adept at consulting with clients, preparing feasibility reports, and collaborating with other professionals. I am proficient in Zoning Analysis, Project planning, Construction Drawing, Detailing, Support of Excavation Drawing, Demolition Drawing, DOT Drawing, Site Safety Plan, Fall Protection Plan, Energy Analysis / Calculation, and Field Measurement.

I am an Architect who is driven by challenges, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of excellence. While others take pride in meeting all standards set before them, my passion is for delivering service that goes beyond organizational expectations, creating a win-win scenario for everyone involved!

My hobbies are reading, drawing, and painting.
