Console Table

This console table doubles as a stand-up vanity with a small mirror that hangs on the wall.  It is made of cherry (red) and curly western maple (lighter wood).  It has three working drawers made of solid cherry and a stable panel bottom.  The unique leg is made up of layers of cherry that are bent into shape and attached together.  The maple portion of the top is a stable panel construction.  Everything else is solid wood.  This was built in a 10-week period, including several proposal drawings, three 3"=1'-0" balsa wood models, two full-scale 2x4 and particle board mock ups, and the final product.
