Dear Sir / Madam,
I am a French architect-engineer. I have studied at the National Architecture School of Lyon (ENSAL, mArch) and at the ENTPE, the French national engineering school for public works and sustainable development.
During my studies I had the chance to do a five month internship at the faculty of Architecture of Delft in the Netherlands. This has confirmed my desire to explore foreign cultures, the English language and an international experience.
After graduating, I first was involved in a lighting design company where I had the privilege to participate in the lighting design of emblematic projects such as the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. This first professional experience provided me a strong methodology in lighting design for both daylight and artificial light. I then worked in several architectural firms, which gave me the opportunity to strengthen my knowledge and skills in design process as well as taking on more responsibilities.
However, since I was in the Netherlands, I have been seeking another, longer foreign professional experience. I am looking for an English speaking, dynamic and multicultural country like the Netherlands but in a different region of the world to discover new cultures.
After now two years and a half of professional practice, I feel convinced that it is now the right time to try again. I believe that Australia and Melbourne in particular is the spot that fits the most my expectations.
I arrived in Melbourne the 30th of January with a Working-Holiday Visa. My Visa will be valid for one year but if everything goes well, I plan to get a working visa to allow me to stay longer.
I am looking for an australian company where I could ideally be involved as an architect or a civil engineer.
During my stay at Ingélux, I mainly worked on emblematic projects such as terminal E2 Charles de Gaule Airport in Paris, the Museum of fine arts in Marseilles, The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris and Euralille (Jean Nouvel) in Lille. I have also a thorough experience in new residential, multi-residential , offices, and educational buildings. I have a good know-how in heritage projects in France as well. I master most of the architectural software as AutoCad, Revit, Allplan or ArchiCad.
Please also find enclosed (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wnf1vx5reehzpx9/qsXAlM-Fq9) an updated CV and portfolio. You will also find a recommendation letter from my former architecture teacher who were supervising me during my graduation project and an another one from the Head of Department of Architectural Engineering at TU Delft University in the Netherlands where I did a five-months internship.
Feel free to contact me for any further information you may need.
With best Regards,
