I am an urban planner with background in architecture possessing 4 years of professional experience. I am highly passionate about design development and built environment of all scales from building design to master planning. With a childhood interest in buildings and architecture, I gradually decided to study City and Regional Planning and expand my scope to designing and envisioning master planning and regional planning projects. At University of Mumbai's Dr. Bhausaheb Hiray College of Architecture, I developed and early interest in urban studies. I participated in and won several design competitions over the period of 5 years and completed 3 Internships. The coursework comprised of comprehensive syllabus in building construction, Theory of materials, architectural design, interior design and town planning accompanied with a final year dissertation.
One of the highlights of my competition participation includes the prestigious Louis Kahn Trophy we won from UNESCO India in 2008, which consisted of documenting and analyzing the urban form and precedents of the historic Paithan City in India.
