Staircase design for the Artgate gallery in Chelsea, New York. This staircase was inspired by the movement of fabric air dance which had two different factors: 'gravity' and 'control,' and the 'control' had two different points: 'constraint' and 'action.' These elements and points were translated into the shape and materials of the staircase. Steps are made of glasses which have 3 different kinds of transparency and which create dramatic visual effect with light. www.tomokomori.com
