Tommy Kyung-Tae Nam is currently working as an architectural assistant at Skidmore Owings + Merrill, Chicago. He has recently received the Burton L. Kampner Memorial Award for the best graduate thesis project called (a)typical office with Yun Yun at the Taubman College.
He has received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL. He is a recent graduate Master of Architecture at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Growing up in the city of Chicago has inspired and catalyzed his passion in the field and study of architecture. He is specifically interested in work consisting of the collection of data, analysis of information and space, and networks of forces that define and expand architecture.
