EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
QuarkXpress 5: Use QuarkXpress for layout and design of ads. Also use QuarkXpress for layout of special sections and entire books.
Adobe Photoshop: Use Photoshop for scanning photos and camera-ready ads. Experience with black and white and color photos, adjusting levels 
and color correcting for proper printing. Experience using clipping paths and other Photoshop tools to edit photos, artwork and text. 
Also, use Photoshop to create special effects for display ads and creating logos using photos, artwork and text.
Adobe Illustrator: Use Illustrator to include artwork in display ads and adjusting pre-designed artwork from clip-art to work more easily with ads. 
Also, use Illustrator to create special effects with type and artwork for use in display ads or logos.
Adobe InDesign: Use Adobe InDesign to layout ads.
Adobe Acrobat: Use Acrobat with distiller to preflight files that arrive via e-mail, Ad Send, Ad Direct or on disk. 
Also, use Acrobat to deliver proofs and mark-up PDFs for corrections.
Other Skills: Proficient with both Mac OS 10.6 and Windows Vista. Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Fireworks, 
Microsoft Office, and FileMaker Pro.
