Seasonal Urban Farming Community

Located on the grounds of Calatrava's abandoned project, The Chicago Spire, this urban framing community makes use of the foundation remnants from Calatrava's design.  Suspended in the left behind foundation hole is a scaffolding structure that allows for a modular living system to be plugged into it at the beginning of the growing season and removed during winter.  Within this scaffolding structure and modular living system, an ad hoc living style exists, which allows for unique apartment organizations, circulation mechanisms and routes.
