About

My name is Theresa Saad, and I am an Architecture major and Sustainability minor at the University of Notre Dame. I am also a proud member of the Notre Dame Marching Band, Drumline, and Wind Ensemble, and spend most of my free time performing and cheering on the Fighting Irish!

The University of Notre Dame's School of Architecture emphasizes classical and vernacular architecture within traditional urbanism. These principles encourage community, harmony with nature and economy of resources and energy. The mission of the school is to educate leaders who will design and build for future generations, cities and towns that are based on a foundation of conservation and investment rather than consumption and waste. Twenty years ago the curriculum was reformed to focus on traditional and classical architecture and urbanism, and now all students are given the opportunity to spend our 3rd year studying abroad in Rome, Italy, to master the art of hand drafting and rendering techniques. Additionally, I have spent multiple summers studying different concentrations and building types within architecture, including healthcare and lab research, commercial buildings, residential custom homes, and urban city planning.

I hope you enjoy my portfolio, and please contact me with any comments or questions.
Thank you!

Theresa
