A key element of The Lighting Practice's success is our ability to find and recruit talented team members with a variety of experience and expertise.  We are pleased to introduce the newest members of our design team, Caitlin Buccari and Carly Stern.

Caitlin Bucari
Lighting Designer

Caitlin joined The Lighting Practice in 2015. With a background in interior design, Caitlin was drawn to lighting because of the ability to be involved in a wide range of projects across the design/construction industry. The decision to pursue lighting design gave her the opportunity to be involved with interior projects, as well as exterior facades, landscape, etc. Prior to joining TLP, she worked as a lighting designer for another Philadelphia area lighting design firm. Her project work includes corporate and hospitality environments. Caitlin loves to create with any type of medium available, including light! Whether it’s sewing, painting, furniture, cooking or gardening she likes figuring out how to make things and incorporate her own personal touch.

Carly H. Stern
Assistant Office Manager

Carly joined The Lighting Practice in 2014 after working in healthcare administration for the past 10 years. Carly decided to make this industry switch because she wanted to take on new challenges, expand her management and communications skills, and utilize her degree in Communications and Public Relations from Holy Family University in Philadelphia. As Assistant Office Manager, Carly will support TLP’s design team and Controller behind the scenes as well as assisting with marketing and proposal submissions. Carly was drawn to TLP because of our work in support of local projects in the Philadelphia area.
