U.S. Marine Corps Base - Camp Pendleton Replacement Naval Hospital

The project includes a 70 acre site which will support an approximately 500,000 sf multi-level Medical Hospital with a central utilities plant, a 1,500 space multi-level parking structure, surface parking, site development, and associated supporting facilities. When complete in 2014, the new hospital will provide inpatient medical facilities, ancillary departments, emergency care, primary care, specialty care clinics, and support spaces. Facilities shall accommodate non-ambulatory patients with stays in excess of 24 hours. Services shall include surgery, patient overnight stays, dental care, intensive care, and general medical and emergency care. This Hospital will need an appropriately sized facility designed for efficient staff and patient operations to provide modern, safe, and effective medical care for its military population and beneficiaries. The project anticipates earning LEED® Gold certification.
