About

LEED AP

--Currently Unemployed--

I am looking to gain more experience in project management: bidding/contract negotiation and general business operations. I need an architect who is willing to mentor me through this in hopes of gained knowledge and to share my expertise in the various software needed for an architecture business. A few common programs I work efficiently in are as follows: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office.

I have general knowledge in all phases of the project however have not participated in any bidding or negotiation following the 100% construction documents. I would also like an opportunity in managing a project of any scale. It is understandable that this takes a great deal of coordination and communication skills and I am eager to learn all aspects to become successful. I have followed up with addendums and bulletins/change orders under the supervision of a registered architect. I also have been to numerous site visits and performed field measurements. I assisted the architect with site inspections and observed incomplete and/or incorrectly constructed work that did not conform with the contract documents. A walk-thru report was developed for the contractor's acknowledgement and correction. I have reviewed submittals and responded in a timely manner that was sent out with transmittal. I typically stay organized by filing all submittals received and sent out; submittals are kept for record if coordination between the responsible parties are needed.
