This Tenet Health System consists of an addition to the University of Southern California Hospital, a new Acute Care Tower at the Richard K. Eamer Medical Plaza. The Acute Care Tower is ten stories, plus a basement, consisting of 194,000 gross square feet of new construction. In that space there are 26 Operating Rooms (13 new and 13 remodeled), 40 Critical Care Beds and 84 Med/Surg Beds. USC University Hospital was the first base isolated hospital in California.
