As an interior designer, I am interested in exploring creativity and shaping the environment we live in by way of design. I have been in love with design and innovation since I can remember and I offer a lifetime of imaginative  expression and creative problem solving. Originality, adaptability, and efficiency are words I live by in any situation and excel in communicating through the process of design.

Walt Disney Imagineering, Lake Buena Vista, FL, US, Interior Design Professional Intern

Intern position at Walt Disney World Imagineering. Working on the parks team, handling a wide variety of work such as restaurant design, retail design, conceptual and design development, construction documents, furniture design, FF&E selections, writing specifications, technical drawings and detailing, millwork detailing, working with vendors, pricing, 3D modeling, carpet designs, rendering, site visits, and any other jobs asked by superiors.

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini (D/P/S), Albuquerque, NM, US, Interiors Intern

Co-op position at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, working on mostly commercial, education and specialty retail design, where duties included space planning, FF&E selections, client presentations, rendering, AutoCAD and Revit technical drawings, 3D modeling, working with vendors, concept sketching, design development, material boards for commercial and retail design, site visits, and any further duties requested.

Chico's FAS, Inc., Fort Myers, FL, US, Store Design Intern

Co-op position at Chico’s headquarters in Fort Myers handling retail design and materials selection of Chico’s, Soma and White House Black Market brands. Main assignments included designing fixture layouts, rendering storefronts and interiors using Photoshop and Podium, 3D store modeling using SketchUp, site visits, putting together material boards for outlet and frontline Chico’s and White House Black Market stores, putting together the end of the quarter storefront movie of all of the opening stores, and any other responsibilities asked by superiors.

VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle, WA, US, Interior Design Intern

Co-op position at Seattle’s Veteran’s Hospital dealing with the current conditions and ongoing renovations of the hospital. Responsibilities included office designs and reconfigurations using AutoCAD, FF&E selections, space planning, art selections, signage and wayfinding, contacting and scheduling movers, holding biweekly moves meetings, creating furniture pulls from off-site inventory, making presentation boards, and addressing interior design request forms sent in by end users.

University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, US, Bachelors, Interior Design

Studied at the school of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati and majored in Interior Design. I graduated from a five year program and participated in the Professional Practice Co-op Program, alternating semesters of college study with semesters of work in the field of interior design. The classes I took included furniture design, lighting design, various studios and design classes, printmaking, and a great deal of philosophy classes.
