The prompt required a museum in downtown Champaign, IL to be centered around a 35 foot long and 16 foot tall T-rex skeleton. An office space and library were also incorporated into the requirements. The floors themselves divides the programs, with the entry level separating the museum from the office space and library. The tree -like coloumns liberate the floor plan of extraneous walls and act as a device to bring in natural daylight, which funnels down the columns and spreads out an even, diffuse light.
