The Bipolar House is a live-work home in Venice, CA for an artist couple. Spatially, the house employs two sides: the more private living spaces and the more open working and gallery space. However, a singular entry is employed to enable a compression, then release, to occur.
The house evolved to a more polygonal triangulated form as design development occurred. A 'chunk' of the house was then isolated and detailed.
