The renovation of this duplex penthouse in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood reinterprets the contemporary, urban home library & media room. The library was custom built with integrated lighting and conceals AV components while wrapping around a new fireplace. Soluri Architecture provided interior design services selecting furniture & finishes including the window treatments and accessories.  On the exterior terrace new landscaping and a new Jacuzzi tub was added, requiring structural reinforcement of the roof.

The goal of the library & media room was to create a contemporary space that evoked the traditional wood and millwork typically found in a library but expressed in a new way, while integrating modern high-end AV equipment.

The exterior terrace was renovated with new landscaping that included plantings, a water feature, new pergola, new furnishings, and a new Jacuzzi tub. The installation of the Jacuzzi required new structural reinforcement of the roof as well as new plumbing & electrical services to be run.
