Awards 

AIA Chicago Student Award, Nomination

The Chicago Award in Architecture is a juried competition of student projects. Recognition is given, at the jury's discretion, for First, Second, and Third Place and for Honorable Mentions. The project awarded First Place is honored with the the Benn-Johnck Award, in the amount of $500.

George Danforth Traveling Fellowship, Award

The George Danforth Traveling Fellowship is a juried competition of student projects. Four (4) awards of $3500 to be used for travel. Open to students who are completing their B.Arch. degree. Students provide a one-page statement and proposed itinerary describing the purpose for travel. Travel must be completed within one year of the award.

Spies Droste Study Abroad Scholarship, Scholarship

The Spies Droste Study Abroad Scholarship is awarded to students who are recommended for and accepted into the Traveling Studio, formerly the IIT Paris program. Awards of $3000 to be used for travel are available for eligible US citizens and permanent residents.

IIT Presidential Scholarship, Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to transfer students in STEM+ fields who receive an official nomination by their institution's President. Scholars receive a $25,000 annual tuition award and a $5,000 annual housing award. Presidential Scholars are asked to maintain a commitment to community outreach that engages and bridges their home and sending communities with the communities at the university. Additionally, scholars must make satisfactory academic progress.
