About

I am an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford. I received both my Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and my Masters of Architecture from the University of Hartford. I  have worked in the architecture field for Sean O'Kane AIA Architect, PC as an architectural intern.

My research interest include how older buildings are repurposed after their original design is no longer needed or wanted. I was the winner of the 2012 Tai Soo Kim Traveling Fellowship. For the Fellowship I  studied how the Olympic Buildings were repurposed by  traveling to Lake Placid, NY, USA ; Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Atlanta, GA, USA; and London, United Kingdom. I presented my findings in a lecture at the University of Hartford to the Architecture Department.

My other interest include photography. I am believe that a photo is just a memory of a place in time. No matter how many times you visit the same place no two photos will be the same. Each having capture the essence of that place and time.
