New studio space in Brockley, s.e. London which transforms a characterless volume. In order to define the space and create an engaging environment a large cork-clad pod has been inserted that differentiates studio space and social space. The surfaces of the cork pod become interactive surfaces perforated with holes to allow a changeable landscape of storage and display whilst increasing acoustic performance and enabling discreet ventilation.
