The College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia has an immediate opening for a Common First Year (CFY) Curriculum Coordinator/Academic Professional.

Working closely with the Schools in the College, the CFY Curriculum Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

·       Lead First Year Seminar GT1000 Teaching team, and develop coursework under the direction of the CFY Director.

·       Manage First Year Instructor orientation.

·       Coordinate design and lecture curricula under direction of the CFY Director.

·       Manage student archives.

·       Develop CFY communication materials featuring student work.

·       Manage student assessment processes.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of CFY (Common First Year).   This is a full-time (75% time) 12 month appointment. The successful candidate will be classified as an Academic Professional and will hold General Faculty Status. Salary is commensurate with experience.  A Master’s Degree in Industrial Design or Architecture is required.  Applicants must have experience as a design practitioner; effective, collaborative team leader; experience teaching Common First Year curriculum incorporating ID and Arch; and the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
