FAT is an architecture office with an international reputation for delivering outstanding and award winning projects at a range of scales and for many different uses. They specialize in architecture, cities and design for cultural, commercial and government clients. The office is directed by Sean Griffiths, Charles Holland, and Sam Jacob.FAT was established in 1995 and has since gained an international reputation for excellence in designing contemporary projects. FAT’s design, installation and gallery based projects explore the potential of objects to perform as critically engaged entities. Through material, form and use they develop a culturally rich approach where design is not only a solution to a problem but a way of describing the contemporary world. The design work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the MAK, Lucy Macintosh Galley and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The work has received several award including RIBA European Awards, FX Best Public Building and Best Museum, Architecture Foundation Next Generation Award, and Housing Design Award.
Perloff Hall is located on the UCLA Campus.
