
Located in Barcelona, Esarq School of Architecture is a multidisciplinary and dynamic school which is part of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC). It seeks to foster a rigorous approach to the teaching of architecture within an innovative framework open to the constant crossover of stimuli, cultures, sensibilities and experiences. The school seeks to address effectively the changes which have taken place in society and in the mechanisms which mark the production and construction of the new contemporary scene and affect the future profile of the architect.

The Master in Regenerating Intermediate Landscapes is a brand new degree that provides the methodology required to design and manage Intermediate Landscapes. The regeneration of urban sprawl and informal settlements, and the preservation of cultural landscapes are critical issues surrounding suburbia. Our program devises sustainable strategies and intermediate approaches based on the care for local identity, environment and social equity in order to contribute to the construction of a more efficient and sustainable metropolis. The Master of International Cooperation: Sustainable Emergency Architecture is a unique degree that prepares architects to develop and rebuild communities affected by poverty, conflict and natural disasters. Featuring visiting professors like Sergio Palleroni, Cameron Sinclair of Architecture for Humanity, Simon Velez, and Esteban Leon of UNHabitat, the program forms part of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus European Cooperation Program.
