About

I have been working in architecture for 8 years while simultaneous pursuing my architectural degree.  I started my career in a technical capacity as a CAD drafter and IT technician and have come to enjoy the challenge of solving complex architectural problems through the design and construction process.  Bringing so many disciplines together to synthesize a practical real-world solution is a challenge unique to architecture and one which consistently surprises and engages me.

In the pursuit of my degree I was pushed to achieve at an even higher level by putting my skills to work on theoretical projects in a wider variety of types, sizes, and locations.  I was inspired to think more critically about my goals as an architect and how best to develop my abilities in pursuit of those goals.  I pushed myself to work on the things I was weakest, to set my own personal goals within the projects I was assigned and to develop myself more fully as a designer.

Now that my studies are complete I want to gain greater experience in architectural design and implementation by building on current skills.  Further develop essential management skills.  Complete IDP requirements, licensing tests and become a registered architect.
