“Thin Living” is an extension of the Boyd Theater located immediately adjacent to the given site. The theater is composed of two parts; the entry lobby abutting the site and the theater. Many events take place within the theater: the act of promenading, viewing, performing, and the intangible acts taking place backstage.
Thin Living takes in these functions and re-inserts them back into the source both literally and figuratively. The performance space extends and punches back into the lobby while the office spaces extend into the lobby.
