About

Employment

RPG, New York, NY, US, Jr. Architect / Project Manager

RPG is a retail design company. My scope of work with them varies from time to time all requiring my architectural background as the basis of my services. I have served as a draftsperson, co-project architect with my executive director, co-project designer, and project manager. Along with all this, I have worked with budgeting and vendor negotiations. Also involved is occasional contact with the client beyond simply scheduling work, which entitles: explaining our process, working out what is or isn't achievable, or working through the design. Detailing of fixtures, connections, and installations methods also are a vital part of the position.

My scope of work with them included the design of the awnings, as well as the construction and installation of them.
