bio_ After graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in USA with a Masters in Architecture, I continued working with the University as an independent researcher to find new materials and construction methods for local environmental infill housing. Next, I became involved in residential design and project management for a construction company and at this time I also worked with several local architects on a variety of project types from urban development to site construction.
Learning how to manage a project through its entirety during this time and with that knowledge I choose to fulfill a desire for an international design experience. With this goal I decided to go back to China, where I studied as a graduate student. I worked in the interior design industry for corporate Beijing offices. I also played a role as design department manager in this international and cross-cultural environment.
My primary project while working in China was for Apple Beijing New Research Department. I was involved in the project from the initial proposal to the final site handover and gained project management skills.
